Manny was one of those unforgettable Spirits who touched us all... whether it was through his energy, enthusiasm and passion for Life, for his Family, Friends and Work. I had the ultimate privilege of working with one of the greatest Souls Dollartree has ever experienced... and he will be remembered and honored always.

Manny was my “Bay Brother” with Dollar tree. I rode with Manny to San Diego and back when he could not fly to go to a Dollar Tree conference 2 years ago. . After spending so much time in the car, I think we really bonded. From that trip forward I spoke with Manny just about everyday. I am already missing those conversations. Such a kind and caring man. My heart truly goes out to your family. He will be dearly missed.

“I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death
They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make,
Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having
Shared their love”

The measure of a man is the impact that they leave behind. The Dollar Tree organization deeply feels Manny's loss, not only in California, but across the country in our Virginia Corporate Headquarters. Manny's passion and spirit embodied the best of our best, and he was legendary in his commitment and his passion for his team and our company. My sincere condolences to his family, and to the Dollar Tree family he created for our California team.
