

Mr.Manuel Velasquez was born and raised in Tornillo,Texas.South-East region from el Paso.Manuel’s parents were Valeria and Cirilo Velasquez.Manuel has 6 siblings.Older sister and brother Sabina, and Jesus. His younger brother is Elio Doro Pedro Jr, and Miguel. Manuel took part in dancing and singing as his hobbies.At 15 years old he traveled the S/W of the country, in sea for employment. His primary occupation was Construction laborer worker.He was also employed as a Farm Laborer for 17 years, also as a Butcher for 12 years and as construction laborer for 38 years. His favorite pursuits were to collect individual family member’s portraits and display them in family room walls. Manuel’s favorite sports was to watch was wrestling and boxing.Throughout his later years Manuel was an active member of Local Laborer’s Union.He was a member of St. Anthony’s in Phoenix Az. a Catholic Church frequently up to 40 years old.He loved to travel to visit families in different cities and states. Manuel retired in San Jose, CA. he passed away in Skyline Health Care Center San Jose, CA.He was a Dialysis patient for the last 10 years.And fractured hip for 1 year and half, and was diabetic. All 6 kids are survivors and so are grandchildren and great grandchildren.Arrangements under the direction of Oak Hill Funeral Home.
