Mimi was the kindest, most loving and generous person I’ve ever known. As my mother-in-law she always gave me the feeling of acceptance and inclusion in the family. She held the family together and encouraged us to support each other. Mimi is greatly missed and will always be an inspiration for me. 

Our sincerest condolences to Phil, Renee, Steve, Lee and all of the family from Dave & Jess Johnston (up in Chicago, previously Glasgow, UK). It has been many years since I stayed with you (too many to mention), but I am so glad we were able to connect again, at least through Christmas cards. You were all such gracious hosts back when I visited and I'm glad I got to spend some time with Iris.

My Parents (George & Norah Johnston, in Glasgow, UK) wanted me to pass on their condolences too. We will all be thinking of you for the Services on Wednesday.
