With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria "Angelita" Salazar, who was called to our Lord Jesus Christ on July 18, 2025, at the age of 96. Angelita was a humble woman of deep faith, devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and many saints.
Born on April 9, 1929, in Santa Tecla, El Salvador, Angelita immigrated to San Francisco, California, in 1972. In her early years, she trained as a professional seamstress, mastering the art of dressmaking. She opened a small shop in Santa Tecla, where she designed and crafted beautiful dresses for all occasions. After moving to California, Angelita continued her career as a seamstress, working for companies such as Lorrie Deb and Koret until her retirement.
Angelita cherished spending time with family and friends, cooking, and sewing. Known for her selflessness, she always put others first, offering unconditional love, daily blessings, and prayers for the well-being of her loved ones.
Though we deeply mourn her loss, we find comfort in knowing she rests peacefully in the house of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Angelita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Miguel Angel Najarro. She is survived by her son, Miguel Antonio Najarro, and his spouse, Doreen Len Wai; grandchildren Tony Najarro and his longtime companion Leah Nelson, Michael Najarro and his spouse Sandra Zago; and great-grandchildren Penelope Najarro and Lilyana Najarro, all of whom loved her dearly.
