Born in Palo Alto, California to Joseph and Hazel Barnes, Marilyn was a beloved mother to her children, Mitch, Tara (Wolfram), Mike (Kerry), and Chris (Julie). She was also a loving grandmother to Max, Kylie, Jake, Casey, and Charley. Preceded in death by her brother, Bob, Marilyn is survived by her brother, Bud (Barbara), many relatives and friends. A caring person with a genuine sense of humor, Marilyn will be greatly missed by her family and many who knew her.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Marilyn’s wonderful life will be held at 5:30 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Oak Hill Funeral Home’s Chapel of Roses, San Jose, California.
