For every problem, he had a solution.
Mario moved to Illinois in 1978, then to San Jose in 1979. 1982 was the transformative year where he became a husband and then a father. Mario was responsible and provided for his wife and their three children. He was very proud of all of their childrens' accomplishments. Especially that they are all college graduates.
Mario worked most of his years at KC Metals and then San Jose/Evergreen Community College District. He was a strong, healthy man who enjoyed the challenge of learning how to fix things. Mario was a hard worker and always said “work smarter, not harder.” Mario loved to help others. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Mario was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed getting to invite all of his visitors into the kitchen for a meal. Mario was fortunate enough to build the things he wanted to build and lived the life he wanted to live.
Mario died peacefully in his home with people that love him. His sudden passing comes as a shock to his family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at the loss. He lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead of him. Mario was taken far too soon. His wife and children would like to thank everyone who visited and brought joy to Mario during his battle with cancer. Most notably Gregory Lincoln, Dr. Abdie Tabrizi, and Víctor Martínez who did so much to help Mario, his wife, and their children.
