Martha Marie Martin (née Herold), 98, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023, in Los Gatos, CA. She was born on August 11, 1925, in Iowa. Martha dedicated 19 years of her life as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. Martha is survived by her loving children: Kathi Martin of Carson City, NV, Bill Martin of San Jose, CA, Tom and Suzanne Martin of Patterson, CA, and Lori Minneker of San Jose, CA. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Martin, and six siblings, as well as numerous other precious family members. Martha's family invites friends and relatives to attend the visitation, which will be held at Willow Glen Funeral Home in San Jose, CA, on January 8, from 4-8 PM. A Rosary will begin at 6:30 PM during the visitation. The funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 9, at St. Christopher's Church at 10:30 AM, where Martha attended Mass for decades.
