Mary Ann passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on May 5, 2018, 18 days before her 80th Birthday. She is survived by her loving husband, Don, of 59 & 1/2 years. She is the beloved mother of Karen (Joseph) Martarano of San Jose, Donald (Michelle) Landucci of Boston and Julie Ann Landucci of Cottonwood. She was a devoted grandmother to Kristalyn, Jeremy (Taneal), Katrina (John), Aaron, Daniel (Laura), Zach (Sara), Brandon, Matthew and Madison and great-grandmother to Carter, Capri, Grayson, Khloe, Sadie & Hunter. She was also a loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Mary Ann was born in Boston, MA in 1938. At the age of 9, she moved to San Jose where she attended Saint Joseph's Grammar School and graduated from Lincoln High School. She married the love of her life, Don, in 1958. They made their home in San Jose where they raised their three children. Mary Ann enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a founding member of Santa Teresa Church, where she taught CCD. She coached her daughter's softball team, and worked at Emporium for over 20 years. She loved to square dance, play Bunco, garden and travel. Mary Ann was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease at a young age. Though living with the disease for more than 38 years, she remained positive, joyful and grateful to God for all she had. She touched many with her positive outlook on life.

Her family would like to thank all the family, friends and healthcare professionals who cared for her, especially Joanna, who loved and cared for her for over 6 years. Mary Ann was an example for us all of a life well lived.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 16th at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Teresa Catholic Church, 794 Calero Ave., San Jose. Reception will follow immediately after in Avila Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Santa Teresa Church Building Fund, 794 Calero Ave., San Jose or the Parkinson's Institute.

So sorry to here about Mary Ann - We have not been in touch for quite a while, but she was a very joyful and beautiful person. I have many early memories as Mary Ann was also my confirmation godmother. I watched a beautiful slide presentation of Mary Ann on the Parkinson web page. God bless your family and our deepest sympathy to all of you.
