

Mercedes Alix Turner was born to the late Francisco and Olympia Alix in Nasugbu Batangas, Philippines, on March 6, 1943. She was the youngest of seven children. As a young girl, her hobbies included going to parties, dancing and attending concerts. In 1982 Mercedes migrated to the United States with her seven children. She took residence in Santa Clara County and lived in Santa Clara County for most of her life, with the exception of living in Loomis, CA, for three years and Arizona for one year.
Mercedes was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and Caregiver. She was kind and compassionate to all of her patients. Mercedes was also soft hearted and empathetic to many family members and friends. Whatever the situation may be, Mercedes was there to work, day and night, to help provide support and assistance to everyone she loved. She will be truly missed by anyone who knew her.
Mercedes is survived by her seven children: Ferdinand, Francisco (Amy), Frederick (Elizabeth), Emily, Fernando (Marjorie), Mildred and Froilan; 23 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; her brother Angelito Alix and her sister Teresita Alix. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.
