Our beloved Miyoko Kobata passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the age of 83. She was born in Alameda, California, and graduated from Sequoia High School. Miyoko (Ben, deceased) is survived by her three loving children David (Michelle) of Dublin. Mariko of Mt. View. Dale (Elise) of Elk Grove. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jonathan (Danitza), Taya, Kainoa and Darren. She is also survived by her brother Isao Hirotsuka, San Jose. Miyoko Kobata was a selfless mother, grandmother, and friend. She found immense joy in her family, especially her grandchildren. Her generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to her funeral service on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 7 pm at San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin, 640 N 5th Street, San Jose, CA 95112.
