Naoya Nobuhiro

Naoya Nobuhiro passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was born in Hiroshima Japan on June 9, 1951. His wife, Emi, and daughter, Ann, were by his side. He is survived by his mother, Chisako; sister, Yoko (Tatsuo); and nieces, Tomoko, Atsuko, Junko and Miyuki in Japan. He was preceded in death by his loving son Jonathan and father, Toshimi.

Nobu was a popular teppan chef at Fujiya and Niji Castle and opened his own restaurant, Nobu’s Family Restaurant, from 1986-1990. He went on to manage the Gombei Restaurant in Menlo Park for 20 years. He was known for his cheerful and out going personality.

Services have already been held. In lieu of flowers and koden memorial donations can be made to the Yu-Ai Kai Community Center.
