Natividad Orpilla Roldan was 78 years old and passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 30th, 2019

Natividad was born to her late parents Isidoro and Juana Orpilla in Candon, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on May 17, 1941. She graduated from Commerce and Tailoring. Natividad immigrated to the United States in California with her family in 1979 and worked as an assembler at Seagate Magnetics.

She was married to Ernesto Limon Roldan in 1977. Natividad is survived by her siblings – Arsenia, Lourdes, George and Cynthia; and her children Maria Elena, Lita Mary, and Darryl. She is also survived by her grandchildren – Brittany Celeste, Desiree Ashley, Keoua, Rochelle Lyn, Janelle Erin, Kathleen May, and Aleki; six great grandchildren – Malia Alyssa, Dylan Alexander, Xaiden Roger, Kylea Aesme, Aleiyah May and Demi Kamalani; along with her extended family and friends.

Natividad was a hardworker, she worked for Seagate Magnetics for more than 20 years and retired in 2006. Aside from working her regular job, she loved to cook. Her co-workers, friends and family would place orders for her delicious Cassava Cake, Sweet Rice Cake, Chop Suey, Relleno Manok (Stuffed Chicken), and Relleno Bangus (Stuffed Milk Fish). She also enjoyed taking care of her granddaughters when they were young and was also able to babysit her great grandchildren as well.

Natividad’s Celebration of Life will commence with two days of visitation on Sunday, November 17th from 9:00am – 9:00pm and Monday, November 18th from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park. The Vigil Mass will also take place at Oak Hill in the Chapel of the Roses on November 18th at 5:00pm. The Funeral Service will be on November 19th at 10:00am at the Chapel of Roses and will be followed by the burial.

The family would like to thank St. Luke’s Medical Center for taking care of Natividad for the months that she was admitted, Father Noel of Our Lady of Peace for the spiritual guidance, and all family and friends who have helped us through this heartbreaking process. We would also like to thank anyone that has filled Natividad’s life with so much love and purpose.
