Born in Sydney, Australia, Pamela was the daughter of Robert Alexander Fyfe and Norma Florence Fyfe (née Thomas). She spent her adult life between New South Wales, Australia, and California, USA, carrying her sharp mind, strong independence, and unmistakable presence with her wherever she went.
Pamela was predeceased by her husband, Alan Carmain, with whom she shared a profound and enduring bond. On Saturday, November 15, 2025, she slipped peacefully from this world and into Alan’s embrace once more — a heavenly reunion long awaited.
She is remembered by those she mothered and those whose lives intertwined with hers across Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and by her brother Stephen, his wife Ping, and their daughter Jasmine, all of whom join in wishing her eternal rest.
Pamela will be cremated in accordance with her wishes. Her place beside Alan at Oak Hill will be arranged in the coming weeks — an earthly reflection of a reunion already complete.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Pamela may consider a donation to the Reaching Out Program at Cathedral of Faith, continuing the legacy she shared with Alan.
