

Pedro, 76 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, primo and friend passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving familia in San Jose, California.
Survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Maria Luisa Franco, Daughters, Genoveva (Mike) Fuentes, Beatriz Franco, Margarita (Roy) Chavoya, Maria (Juan Sr.) Rayas and Son, Peter(Tina) Franco. 5-Grandsons Michael, Juan Jr, Adrian, Nicholas & Eric, 6-Granddaughters Jessica, Chelsea, Elena, Priscilla, Stephanie and Maricela and
3-Great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Alliyah and Presley. Sisters, Emma Lachica and Celia Teran and brothers Miguel and Candelario Franco.
Preceded in death by his parents, Anastasio and Genoveva, sister Guadalupe Aguilar and brother Bernardo Franco.
Born in Cd. Juarez, Mexico, Pedro immigrated to the Unites States in 1954 to El Paso, Texas. In 1956, he moved to Parker, Arizona and followed the crops for three years as a farmworker. In 1959, he enlisted with the United States Air Force. In 1961, he met and married the love of his life. They lived the Military life and were based in New Mexico, Florida, Texas, France and created a daughter at each stop. In 1969, after serving 8 years in the Military they decided to settle in California to raise their daughters, however, they were blessed, once more with a long awaited son. He loved coaching his son and nephews in Little League Baseball. Pedro was a man of many trades in which he was able to provide for his family, over the years he worked as a Factory worker, Carpenter, Auto repairman and his last 11 years working for the City of San Jose in the Parks Dept. On his time off he enjoyed road trips, spending time with family near and far, stopping at casinos to make withdrawals and deposits along the way. He loved solving puzzles of any kind (crosswords, sudoko and jigsaw). He also joined the world of social media ; texting and Facebook. Once retired he loved maintaining his garden landscapes and watching his beloved Giants (and sometimes A's). He loved music, parties and dancing and was always one of the first ones out on the dance floor. He will always be remembered as a good kind-hearted, funny man who was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone.
