Pham Thi Tu

Sinh năm 1930 tại làng Nha Xá, xã Mộc Nam, huyện Duy Tiên, tỉnh Hà Nam, bắc phần Việt Nam. Bà trưởng thành nơi quê nhà trong một gia đình chuyên nghề dệt lụa, ươm tơ. Năm 1951 theo gia đình di cư vào Nam lập nghiệp và kết hôn với cụ ông Phạm Dy Cảo 4 năm sau đó. Sau năm 1975, bà cùng chồng mang gia đình vượt biển, sau đó định cư tại Hoa Kỳ năm 1980. Là một người mẹ luôn luôn bảo bọc chăm sóc cho con, bà đã quán xuyến cùng chông trong mọi công việc nơi xứ lạ quê người, để các con được ăn học nên người. Luôn luôn nhỏ nhẹ, vui vẻ, và sẵn sàng giúp đỡ người chung quanh. Sự ra đi của bà để lại một mất mát lớn trong lòng mọi người.

Born in 1930 in Nha Xa Village, North Viet Nam, she was the youngest of 5 children. In 1951, she migrated to Saigon, South Viet Nam with her family and married at the age of 25 to Mr. Phạm Dy Cảo. Taking charge of the household and raising their 6 children, she also helped her husband run a fabric manufacturing factory. After the fall of Saigon in 1975, the family left their homeland and immigrated to the US in 1980. Faced with financial hardship and lost in a foreign land, she never wavered and continued to ensure that her family, children and grandchildren, stayed focus on their studies and achieve success. A loving wife, a devoted mother, the sweet grandmother and great-grandmother, a kind friend, the pillar of our family after the passing of our father in 2007, her passing is a great loss to all and irreplaceable.
