Allan, Dennis, and Richard,

Nancy and I were saddened to hear about Uncle Ray. I know how difficult it is to lose your parents at any age having gone through three deaths in our family recently. I have only fond memories of Ray from our childhood visits to Florida and California in my younger days.  I cant tell you how much we enjoyed seeing him and going to lunch with him about 5 years ago when Nancy and I were out there for an ADA meeting. I even learned of his experiences in Indo-China as a driver during World War Two.  He insisted we watch the video of that trip of him and his war buddies.  I have to admit it was an interesting and educational experience and one which he enjoyed telling us about.  This was something I had never heard before.

He also remembered how I loved to play golf and even though I don"t remember, he told me of going to play golf together and how I loved to use my 7 iron.  Still my favorite club to this day.

Nancy and Ray always exchanged Christmas cards with news of the year.  She loved getting those cards from him and was so excited to finally get to meet him when we were out west. She told me what a sweet man he was and of course I agreed.

It is so difficult to deal with our parents and relatives leaving us.  So many little details to be done and so many memories to deal with.  I hope that all of you get through this well as you reminisce about his life with you and Aunt Julie.

They are finally together again.
