Rest in peace Ricardo, You were a great friend to our family and a close friend to our cousin Ron Segura. I will always remember walking with you and the Vietnam Veterans in the parade on Veterans Day. It was a honor for me to walk with you.

I met Richard Hernandez when we were both 12 years old. Whoever has seen the movie Sandlot can see the life we had as kids living on Westcourt. Over the years we did not see each other frequently,but always communicated. I do not know when Richard turned in to Ricardo, but I Ricardo was a man who lived his wife and children very much and whenever we spoke he mentioned how happy they made him. He was a friend and a brother! Only wished he was a Dodger Fan.

Tio, I still can't believe you're gone even though I prepared myself. I'm so happy that I got to spend so much time with you & the time after, from our long talks & walks, the long chats on the phone & texts. You told me that you loved our long chats & texts & that I'm a unique woman & person. Thank you so much Tio for always being there for me & my family & for always being a great listener, loving, understanding & caring man. You are my favorite Tio! I'm missing you so much, I'll never forget you. Your last wishes to me will always remain & continue forever. My other hero!

He was a big part of our growing up; he was our tio "dad" who gave so much of himself to many. He enjoyed his sports, talking about the "good old" days and worshiping our Savior.
