This is very shocking news hearing of Mr. Guggenheim's passing. He was an attorney for me for many years, for big issues or minor issues. Richard was low key but had very creative and sound advice. He knew when the situation needed to fight and he knew when the situation was best to hold back, and try to resolve it in other ways. Richard was easy to talk to and trustworthy. I can still recall in memory Richard's words of advice many years ago, as if we had just spoken yesterday. He will be missed very much. May he rest in peace.

Rich was a very dear friend and riding partner.  I enjoyed many horse back rides with him through the years.  I always enjoyed his company!  I admired his easy, kind and compassionate demeanor.  I would always tell him you’re so easy to be around and he would smile, chuckle and say,  “so are you”.  I will miss him very much!!

I just became aware of this sad news today. Richard was a friend/lawyer to me for many years. He was always willing to answer my silly questions and give me advice. His dry sense of humor was something that I appreciated.  I didn’t see him often , that was the nature of an attorney-client relationship, but he was a kind man with a good chuckle and I felt comfortable talking with  him. I am truly sorry that he is gone. Adios Bud. 

Richard was one of the most big hearted people I have ever met.  Gonna miss our time in the office and our happy hours.  I will always remember you and celebrate you on your birthdays.  Cheers Richard! Forever in our hearts.
