Richard "Rich or Buddy Boy" Harvey Lewis

Richard was born in Dallas, Texas, moved to California at a young age and was raised in San Francisco and San Jose. He joined the United States Air Force in 1955 and served for 4 years. Richard was a Kenpo Karate Instructor for 55 years and presented his bronze sash in June 2014. Richard is survived by his loving wife Helen, his 7 children Richard Lewis Jr., Glenda Lewis, Sharon Lewis, Janet Cornell, Brandon Lewis, Natalia Rall and Dawnielle Lewis, his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 brothers Butch and Carl Lewis and 3 sisters Alice Jackson, Lizzy Jefferson and Thedda Gourley. Friends and Family are invited to the viewing on Monday, January 18th at 10:30am and Funeral Services at 11:00am at the Cathedral of Faith Chapel 2315 Canoas Garden Ave San Jose, CA 95125. The Burial to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Richard Harvey Lewis.
