Richard Edward Sennett

Richard Edward Sennett, "Papa", age 69, of San Jose, California passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Richard was born in Detroit, Michigan. He was raised in Sunnyvale, California and has resided in San Jose, California for the past 47 years.

Richard is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Vicki Sennett; his siblings, Linda and Billy; his children, Kathy and Laura; his grandchildren, Christina, Jessica and Robert; great grandchildren, Isaac, Mila, Adrielle, Adele, Angelina and Izabel; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Bill and Lucy, his sister Mary and his niece Lynn.

Richard was known to his kids and grandchildren as papa. He was an avid fisher and duck hunter. He enjoyed going to 49er football games and Golden State Warriors games with his wife and friends. He loved doing things with his wife, family and friends. He helped many people and made memories with many more. Richard was a special man.

A visitation for Richard will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A rosary service will occur 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Church of the Transfiguration, 4325 Jarvis Ave, San Jose, CA 95118.

A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 2650 Madden Ave, San Jose, CA 95116.
