I had the pleasure of meeting Rob in the late 80’s as I was looking for help tuning my Suzuki GSXR.
Everyone one kept saying “go see Robbie, he’s the GSXR Guru” and he really was!
Later around 1996 I started racing and began forming what became “BlueStreak Racing”
Rob was always a friend and help to not only myself, but our whole crew.
Later, I had the pleasure of being roommates with Rob and Mr Geep Terranova (good ol’ times)
One of my fondest memories was sitting on the AFM 750P grid and looking over to Rob, He gave me a nod and a thumbs up! As I glanced down I noticed his name on the windscreen “WOB”
Always a good sense of humor, even to poke at himself.
Godspeed Rob #79❤️

I only met Rob briefly when we were touring America doing Stunt Shows and I blew my bike up and Rob offered to fix it...Rob and his lads worked through the night and had my bike ready the next day..they worked through the night !!! there's not many people you meet like Rob who you know will be a friend for life..I wished we could have met up again and had a good talk over a beer or three he was a real nice genuine down to earth guy.

WE RE KINDLED OUR RELATIONSHIP IN THE MID EIGHTYS WHEN HE OPENED A MOTORCYCLE SHOP RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM MY AUTO SHOP ON LEWIS RD.
