It is with heavy hearts we advise the passing of Robert “Bob” Hope at the age of 83. He peacefully passed in his home on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Bob was a wonderfully private and humble man during his lifetime; he wished to remain this way in his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hope; four children: Leigh, David, Michael and Christopher; four grandchildren: Nick and Josh, Turner and Dillon; and his only brother, Don.
Bob will be remembered for his outstanding athletic ability along with his tremendous work ethic and unmatched honesty in all of his business endeavors. Upon graduation from Indiana University with numerous academic honors, Bob worked for Ford Motor Company, Xerox, and a number of investment brokerage firms for which he became vice president in record time, before starting his own investment brokerage firm, which he took to unparalleled success. Bob was featured daily for years on a local television station with a one-minute forecast of stock market news. He was one of the first to hold seminars that would attract standing-room-only crowds.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that a short prayer be said for Bob and his family.
