Robert Montour

Robert grew up in Longmont, proudly joining the United States Navy in 1955. He spent twenty years in the Navy, leaving the service in 1975, after two tours in Vietnam with Squadron VP-28. After leaving the Navy he went on to attend San Jose State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1978. Robert then went on to dedicate over twenty-five years of his life to a career at Lockheed Martin, where he was known for his dedication and expertise.

He married the love of his life, Theresa B. Montour, in 1965, and together they raised seven wonderful children: Michael, Bonita, Joseph, Armando, Maria, Sofia, and Angelique. Robert was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, always putting his family first. He adored his grandchildren, and they will always remember his warm smile and endless stories.

Robert had a passion for the Navy, flying, working on cars, and both his football teams the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers. He spent every chance he could with all his grand and great-grandchildren. Showing up for all their events

A man of integrity and kindness, Robert touched many lives with his generosity and wisdom. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The funeral service will be held on June 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery, with a reception to follow.

A visitation for Robert will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, in Room E. A visitation will occur Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Oaks. A prayer service will occur Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Oaks.

A visitation will occur Monday, June 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, in the Chapel of the Oaks. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 24, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Oaks. A committal service will occur Monday, June 24, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.
