I am saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a good friend to my ex-husband Gary Freese. We had a lot of fun chasing Cheap Trick around back in the day. My condolences to you and your family.

I am still recovering from the shock of hearing about Bob. I was a colleague with Bob for several years at BayAT and always enjoyed working with him. Bob had a special way of taking care of his clients, and he consistently and successfully fought for their voice. Bob's smile was infectious and helped me remember that work is important, but getting the most of out life and finding a way to laugh and smile at things is equally important. Bob will definitely be missed, but his spirit remains in all of us, and I am so glad it does.

I was devastated by the sudden loss of my dear brother Bob.  It certainly came as a shock since he sounded so healthy when we spoke by phone in September.  We even planned a visit after Christmas this year.

I truly celebrate his life and fondly reflect on so many memories of our years growing up together in Indiana, Wisconsin and Illinois.

As I read the heartfelt tributes posted here it is obvious to me that Bob positively impacted many lives throughout his career.  He clearly left his mark and assuredly completed his mission in life.  I am so proud to have been his sister.

WELL DONE, BOB!  You are deeply missed.

Ill miss Bobs fierce advocacy for his customers, his hilarious sense of humor and unusual technique. When a customer needed urgent service, he would ring all the alarm bells and pursue all parties for a solution. Many times to the point of argument. Solution reached, hed suddenly go quiet and with a thoughtful facial expression and crack a joke. In an instant tensions were relieved, problem solved and all in the room would be laughing again. I will miss him very much.  




After 20+ years, you were and will always my great friend. There are no words that can express my emotion. You are an honest and geuine person. I miss you and will miss you.

As you grieve know that I am remembering you and honor the memory of Bob. I will always remember the perpetual smile on his face, his genuine caring demeanor and his funny wit. We shared many conversations, music and laughs over the years and those memories as well as his fun loving spirit will forever remain in my heart. Rest in Peace my friend.

I had the pleasure to work with Bob when I traveled to California for our company for many years. Making calls with Bob was always an adventure. It was so much fun, we laughed, talked sports, played golf together, and sometimes we worked. He was one of a kind with a great sense of humor strong passion and a great guy. I am truly sadden by his passing my heart goes out to his wife Kim and all his family. He will be missed and Bob always left you laughing and what could be better than that.

Bob, one question that always comes up when a person dies is what do they take with them? There are so many possible answers, but none of them really truly answer the question in its entirety. No one from heaven has written a book before, a book that lets us know all that is to come after death. Although we don't know what you have taken with you in your passing, we know what you have left behind. You left behind a sense of compassion and morality. You left behind a seed that made people's love for you grow even greater. You left behind the memory of the good that you have done. Without a doubt, you were a salesman of respect. You displayed sincerity that we will never forget. Your life was dedicated to such hard work and helping others, and everyone around you has truly appreciated you for what you've done. We will continue to appreciate you by keeping you in our prayers everyday. Although you may no longer be here with us physically, you are spiritually always guiding us no matter you are. By leaving, you left behind your laughter and smile to linger in our souls. But one thing I know for sure that you took with you to heaven; our endless admiration for you.

Bob was one of the first vendors I met when I joined Airgard, he always had a smile and a dry sense of humor.  There were times when everyone was at lunch he and I would talk about home repairs, if I remember correctly he had to replace a washing machine that did not go very well.  Bob cared about his customers and went to great lengths to meet their needs.  Sometimes he would write an email and apologize that he had to get tough with them .  These comments may not mean much to you but they are great memories for me.  My heart goes out to his wife Kim and family.  Bob will truly be missed by the Airgard crew.

The entire Bennett family is deeply saddened by the loss of Bob.  He was nearly a charter member of the Bay family going back to the early 80's.  Bob was an eternal optimist and nothing if not irrepressible.   His quirky sense of humor and charm won him many a friend and admirer and accounted for much of his success as a salesman as well as a human being.   Bob leaves behind a legacy that will always be an important part of Bay's history whenever it is recounted.  We will all miss him.

I had the pleasure of hiring Bob and working with him for over 30 years. My early years with him were spent trying to coach and mold him into what I believed a technical sales engineer should be. Imagine my frustration. I eventually learned that Bob had a perfect balance of passion, assertiveness, humor, keen intelligence and business skills and left him to be Bob. Our adventures were never boring and Bob created a legend of himself.  He will leave a deep hole in my heart and reside there always.

Bob was (and will always be) an integral part of the Bay family and of Bay's growth over these many years. Bob was respected by his peers in the industry as his professional career spanned 40 years. However, Bob meant a lot more then that. Bob was a unique individual to say the least. He could be funny, charming and certainly always had his opinions but he was a sincere person. He was tireless in his pursuit to be fair to his customers and to know who they were as people. This was who Bob was. He would always take time to speak with anyone and showed genuine interest.

That is what we will remember most about Bob. The ultimate people person.
