During 1982, we met in Hong Kong and both fell in love immediately. In1983, we got married and left Hong Kong to United State, only after a short period of time, he found a job in Switzerland, so I followed him and we settled in Europe.
Robin is one of the most amazing people I have ever known. His interests included traveling, writing, reading, and listening to classical music. He had talent in learning languages, able to speak and write in German, French, and Japanese. He loved to help people, was very kind to everyone around, and always kept a charming smile on his face.
He was very generous in donating money to support Earth Justice, Sierra Club, Amnesty International, Union of Concerned Scientists, Doctors without Borders, etc.
Just like many other couples, our marriage life had ups and downs. We had gone through all types of difficulties while still binding strongly to each other and finally came into a very happy life living together. I loved my husband deeply; he was such a lovely person and he occupied all of my heart. I took good care of him no matter how hard it was during the past year while he was suffering through brain cancer. I kept my promise to be by his side all the time until he passed away peacefully. I believe he is in a better place - very free and without pain, and I will join him one day.
