Roger Louis Stanton, at the age of 85, left this world to reunite with his beloved wife of 56 years, Sharon Stanton. A devoted husband and cherished father, Roger built a life centered on family, faith, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.
Roger was often described as a “dynamo” by those who knew him best—a fitting tribute to the energy, vision, and determination he brought to his life’s work. For over 60 years, he served as President and CEO of Specialty Truck Parts, guiding the company with steady leadership and helping it evolve from into a modern West Coast truck parts supplier. Through times of change and growth, Roger remained a constant presence, always ready to take the helm and lead with purpose.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Roger’s true legacy lies in the way he treated people. He believed deeply in the value of his employees and recognized the importance of their contributions. His generosity and leadership touched many families, creating opportunities and leaving a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.
Roger is survived by his children, Brian Stanton and Debby Lingenfelter; his daughter-in-law, Susan Stanton; his son-in-law, Barry Lingenfelter; and his beloved grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan Martin, and Justin and Jenna Stanton.
Roger will be remembered not only for his drive and success, but for his kindness, integrity, and the countless lives he influenced along the way.
His memory will continue to live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know him.
Mom and dad, we miss you… we know you’re dancing together again in heaven! Love forever, Brian and Debby
