On October 29th, 2024, the world lost a caring husband, a protective father, and a comedic brother and friend. Ronualdo Reyes suddenly passed away at the age of 44, but with his family by his side.
Ronualdo was born on May 20, 1980, in Marikina, Philippines. He was Rosalinda and Carlos Reyes' second youngest child. His siblings include Mary Joe Reyes-Samonte, Maria Cristina Reyes-Quintos, Ronaldo Reyes, and Marie Louise Reyes. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1994 and attended Wilcox and Yerba Buena High School, where he made some long-lasting friendships.
Ronualdo met Winnie through mutual friends and later rekindled their relationship after some time apart. They were married on January 29th, 2005, and shared two children, Aiara and Arawen. He was incredibly proud of his family. He didn’t have all the right words to express it all the time, but the girls were his pride and joy.
His hobbies include tinkering with gadgets, eating delicious food, and cracking jokes with everyone around him. Some of his favorite things to watch were National Geographic, anime, and The Lord of The Rings.
Ronualdo was predeceased by his mother, Rosalinda Reyes, and nephew, Justin Christopher Reyes-Quintos.
Ronualdo's warmth and kindness left a mark on the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. A “Celebration of Life” will be held on November 16, 2024, at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel from 11 am to 6 pm.
Rest in peace, Ronualdo Reyes. May the memory of your love and spirit bring comfort to the hearts of those who knew you.
