Roselia Soria Cuevas, age 58, passed away on September 16, 2026, having been born on November 22, 1967. Roselia was born in Pinzándaro, Michoacán, México, to her father Salvador Soria and her mother Evangélina Cuevas Soria. Roselia was the youngest sibling out of 13 siblings, including Pascuala and Martín who passed away at a very young age, followed by, Salvador, Evelia, Rufina, Dulia, Martín, Ernesto, Nicolás, Ignacio, Roberto, Natividad, and Rogelio Soria. Roselia arrived in Baldwin Park, California, United States around the age of 9 years old, where she then established her life in San Jose California. She spent 30 years working at SMART Modular Technology in Fremont, California. She met her beloved partner Sandra Vazquez in 2006 and became her wife. They’ve been inseparable for 20 years, raising their first beloved palomita. Palomita was Roselia’s pride and joy. Then they adopted muñeca and chispa, and raised them together in their home in Stockton, California. Roselia was loving, funny, thoughtful, and a fighter. She loved eating chongos, pinzanes, enchiladas, and her all time favorite menudo. She loved the music group Vennus and artist Ana Gabriel. Roselia has also always requested the song Las Joyas De Mi Vida by Los Dinnos and loved to sing it. Her favorite soccer team was CF América. Her favorite hobby was gardening her plants. Roselia was very loved by her entire family and her presence will always be remembered.
Visitation will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, US, on October 13, 2026, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and again on October 14, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
