Ruben Raul Vigil

Ruben Raul Vigil, 63 year-old resident of Sunnyvale, CA, passed away on January 28, 2019. He was born in San Jose, CA to Helen Tessier and Leo Vigil. Ruben attended Roosevelt Jr. High school and graduated from San Jose High School.

Ruben was active in sports, especially football, #43 San Jose Bulldogs. If he could make you laugh that was his joy. Ruben was a crossing guard for the school district, which he enjoyed very much. He was a great fan of the 49ers, Warriors and Giants, but Ruben loved to play golf when he could. He made many calls to family and friends about upcoming sports to watch on TV, so they would be sure not to miss anything.

Ruben is survived by his loving mother Helen Tessier, father Leo Vigil (Alice), his daughter, Andrea Sanchez (Javier) and granddaughters, Regina, Alyssa, Serena. He is also survived by his sisters Maxine Alferez (Carlos), Rose “Rusty” Luna (Ron), step-sister Alison DeMara, and half-brother, Jason Vigil. He is also survived by his nephews Manny Alferez, Abrian Alferez, niece Charese Harper (Malcolm) his great nieces, Abigail and Isabella as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins.

A private Memorial Service will be at a later date.
