One of my favorite memories of my mom was when I was living in VA back in the early to mid 90's. One summer I flew home to CA to spend a week with my parents. Well during that time I died my hair REALLY blonde and had gotten my first tattoo. When I got off the plane my mom looked at me and the first thing she said to me was "God your hair is really blonde!" A couple of days later I was wearing a tank top and she looked at me a couple of times before she realized I had a tattoo. She thought it was fake and we talked about it. Then we went to see my brother that morning, he did a triple take seeing the tattoo and he thought it was fake and my mom popped up and said not for $125 bucks its not.
