Sadae Tatsukawa

Sadae (Aochi) Tatsukawa passed away peacefully on November 23rd surrounded by her family. She was born on February 2, 1940, in Tacoma, WA, and grew up in Sunol, CA. Sadae married James, the love of her life, in 1964 and has been a resident of Los Gatos for the last 49 years. Sadae was known for her kindness, generosity, and her selfless devotion to her family. She was loved by every person who was blessed to have met her.

While she held several jobs over the years, most notably at Lockheed Corporation, American Savings, and Metropolitan Education District, Sadae dedicated most of her time to her family. She tirelessly guided her sons through Boys Scouts, multiple sports, and marching band, and took an active role in caring for her five grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by James, her beloved husband of 59 years; son John (Lorraine), and granddaughters Katie and Emily; son Greg (Julie); son Jim (Julie) and grandsons Dexter, Beckett, and Webber; and her brother Frank (Mits) Aochi. She is preceded in death by her brothers Takashi Aochi and Keiji Aochi. She also leaves behind sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
