"Sam's birth name, 王松石, literally translates to "royal pine and stone," which described his virtues perfectly: confident, solid, stable, trustworthy. His family and friends knew they could always depend on him to provide wisdom, help and support. He exemplified the importance of self-reliance, self-assurance, entrepreneurship and financial management, four skills that served him well during his life in China, Hong Kong and the U.S. He was a math and number genius, was able to calculate complex equations in his head even though he didn’t get to finish high school. He deeply loved his family and recently celebrated 61 years of marriage with his wife. He is survived by his wife Christina, his daughters Susanna, Amy, and his six grandchildren, Naethan, Chloe, Evan, Emma, Kayden and Logan."
