Sautia “Koke” Mailo Jr, age 71, started his journey back home to be with the Lord in the early morning of Saturday, December 9th, 2023, surrounded by his wife and family, he passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with his health. Sautia was born on October 10, 1952, in American Samoa to Lagi and Sautia Mailo. He was number six out of nine children, five brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife Vasa and three daughters and their families: Itagia Maggie (Lane Jason), Lagituaiva Mardie (Heamasi), and Nerrisa Sarona (Sela) and grandkids: Tafa’ilagi, Jacelyn, Lane Jr, Josiah Sautia.
Sautia was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend – he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Viewing will be held on Friday, 1/12/24 at 10:30am and services will begin at 12:00pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue in San Jose, CA 95125. Reception will follow.
