

Born in Riverside, California, on March 9, 1927, to Sebastian Carrasco Sr. and Teresa Marquez Carrasco, Sebastian was raised during the hardships of the Great Depression. At the age of 16, he moved to San Jose, where he would eventually build a life and raise a family.
He served honorably in the United States Army during World War II and was stationed in Japan after training at Camp Roberts, California. Following his service, he began working in the apricot orchards of Cupertino and later took pride in his work at the American Can Company. He retired from the San Jose Unified School District.
In 1954, Sebastian married the love of his life, Alexandra "Honey" Carrasco. Together they began their life in San Jose and raised eight children: Marie, Genevieve, Guadalupe (Ralph), Michael (Cecilia), Ray (Irene), Ruth(Jorge). He was preceded in death by his children David and Lorraine.
Sebastian was a man of quiet strength and deep devotion. He was a grandfather to eleven grandchildren and a great-grandfather to eight, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and family.
