She was born on August 18, 1943, in San Francisco, California to Lena and Frank Perucca. After graduating from Mission High School, she attended San Francisco City College and became a professional secretary. In 1961, she married Donald Beddell and had two children, Donald and Deborah.
Sharlene will always be remembered for her kindness, warmth, humility, and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her children and their families, and her sister, Rochelle Perucca. Sharlene was preceded in death by her husband, Don.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose with a Rosary said at 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held on July 17, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., also at Lima Family Erickson, followed by a committal service at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery at 2 p.m.
