Silvero joined the Army at the age of 17, serving in WWII.
He coached little league baseball for 25 years & loved taking his sons fishing. He enjoyed his job as head groundskeeper of Old Town Los Gatos, retiring at the age of 74. In his later years, he enjoyed breakfast at McDonalds & sharing stories with his veteran buddies.
