Stan was a big Brother, Brother in law and Uncle to our children . Stan never went unnoticed, wherever he went not just because of his slender build, height, extremely white/blond hair and eyebrows but because of his friendly personality. He always had a smile and a greeting for everyone, whether you were a relative, a neighbour or a grocery clerk.
He loved telling stories of his past, laughing, singing, playing music and of course dancing. He never spoke a harsh word about anyone. In most cases he was the glue that held friendships together. Very open minded and would try most things. He will be remembered lovingly , with a positive and inspiring example for living.
Goodbye Stan, we will miss you.

Stan for sure will be missed and remembered by me as easy going and enjoyed his fun filled active life. Even though making his home in California he never forgot his Canadian roots and extended family. Fond memories of his many visits , famiiy stories of Hornepayne Ontario where the Snape family originated. I aways envied Stan and Jeff's Ontario Lake Trout fishing charters they went on during their visits.
He always made sure to keep connected with people he cared about .

Stan was my cousin on mr father, Jack Snape’s side of the family in Canada. Although he lived far away in California, he always included us in his yearly visits to Ontario. Over those years, he would arrive at our home with his sisters Dorothy and Sylvia and then his brother Jeff and spend the day getting reacquainted with my growing family. Stan was always very attentive to my Mom, his Aunt Joan. He loved to talk to us all!
Stan was a good man who enjoyed his family and friends. We are thankful for the memories.
We send sincere condolences to Rose and her family and also to Jeff, Theresa and family.
