Teresita G. Nelson

She was born in Sison, Pangasinan, Philippines, on March 14, 1941. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Tess, as she was affectionately known, was the bedrock of our family. She raised six children and several nieces and nephews, all of whom call her Mama. She was a friend to all who knew her. Together we shared over 55 years of married life. She leaves behind her husband Jim, sons Timothy Bittig, Richard, James, Peter, and daughter Mary Jane McAnallen. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Claire Nelson Blas.

Tess was a strong woman overcoming breast cancer and surviving kidney disease. Throughout all her adversity, she always maintained a positive outlook, never complaining, always moving forward.
