I am so saddened to hear of the passing of KimThanh. We worked together in the Appeals Unit for a short time at the County and I will always remember how gentle, kind-hearted, and soft spoken she was. KimThanh was a pleasure to work with and get to know over the years, and always had such a beautiful bright smile every time we would talk. She is no longer suffering or in any more pain, and is looking over us from the heavens above. May the Lord Bless You and Your Family Always.

KimThanh was a beautiful soul. She was kind hearted, soft spoken, and a caring and loving person. We worked together years ago when she was an Eligibility Worker and then later an EW Supervisor. She and I would attend weekly bureau meetings together. She remembers that I was always cold in our meetings and one day she bought me a warm shawl and said she wanted me to be warm. At other times she noticed that I didn't take time for breaks or lunch, so she would bring a plate of fruit or food for me and tell me to eat. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her unwavering kindness towards me. I know she is in a much happier and peaceful place, free of pain and suffering. Rest in love and peace KimThanh, your work on this earth is done.

We are so sad to hear of Kim's passing. We send our deepest sympathies to her family.
Thanh, whom I will always remember as Kim, was a student in my Des Moines Hoover High School English classes from 1981 to 1985, when she graduated. What a delightful, memorable, smart student she was. And full of spirit. My wife and I were lucky to stay in touch with Kim from the time she graduated from high school. My son and I visited her in San Jose and met her beautiful children.
What stood out about Kim was her mental sharpness and wisdom. I taught English to thousands of students. Kim is one of the few that I'll always remember. She was a kind, beautiful soul.
