

Tom was easygoing and down to earth, with a calm presence and a natural sense of humor that made people feel comfortable. He loved being around family, joking, laughing, and keeping things simple. His presence brought peace, and he was deeply loved by those who knew him.
A true sports guy, Tom played football and baseball growing up and carried that love of sports throughout his life. He was a loyal fan of the Raiders, the A’s, and USC, and always enjoyed watching a game and talking sports with family and friends.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Kari Dominguez; his children, Marina Maguire, Bernadette Dominguez, and Oscar Dominguez; his siblings Linda, Suzie, Norma, Darlene, Tim, and Teddy; and his cherished grandchildren Liam, River, Emerson, Izabella, Ariella, Nainoa, Antonio, Noelani, and Easton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Dominguez and Beatrice Dominguez; his sister, Cindy Dominguez; and his niece, Deborah Scott.
A memorial service will be held on January 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel of Oaks at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125. A reception will follow, with details to be announced.
Flowers may be sent to Oak Hill Memorial Park and may be delivered the day prior to the service and up until service time.
