Thomas Frank Van Eaton Jr

Thomas Frank Van Eaton Jr, 92, passed away February 17 at his home in San Jose, CA. He was born in Eatonville, WA June 25, 1922 to TF “Judge Frank” and Elizabeth Van Eaton, and was the grandson of town founder TC Van Eaton. He left Eatonville after graduating from EHS to serve his country in the Navy. It was while stationed in California at Moffett AFB that he met his beloved Lorraine Murillo. They married in 1946, settled in San Jose and along with her brothers ran the family bakery until he retired IN 1994.

The tales of growing up in Eatonville always held a special place in his heart. He lost his wife of 49 years in 1995. He is survived by his children Patricia (Tony) Martinez, Mary (Robert) Perez, Thomas III (Betty) Van Eaton and Lorraine (Joseph) Van Eaton-Chang, eleven loving grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation February 27, 4 PM to 8 PM and Saturday February 28, 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Services to be held February 28, 11:30 AM, Willow Glen Funeral Home on Lincoln Ave. in San Jose, CA. Internment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, Santa Clara, CA.
