Tim was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 20, 1955. He grew up in Wheaton, IL with his parents and nine siblings. At 21, he moved to California where he first met Carol in Los Angeles. Then moved to Northern California to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Humboldt State University. After graduation, he moved with Carol to Silicon Valley, where he started his career as a Software Engineer for Apple Computers, married Carol and had an only daughter, Caitlin.
Early in his career, he moved from a Software Engineer to his passion, Network Engineering and worked in that capacity until retirement. On his off-times, he was an active dad. He loved to travel and camp with his family, vacationing in Hawaii, Europe, Mid-west and East-coast.
His proudest achievement in his later career was purchasing a vacation home in Yosemite with his wife Carol. He enjoyed spending a majority of his time improving the 3-acre homestead. It was his dream to retire in the mountains and leave his legacy to his family.
Most recently, he and Carol moved to be with their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. He held the newest grandbaby just before he passed on December 2, 2019.
His favorite place to be was with his family and friends. He was funny and sensitive and was loved dearly. He is survived by his wife Carol of 38 years, daughter Caitlin, grandchildren Alfonso and Aubrie, sisters Terri and Annie, and brothers John and Tom.
