V. Glodean (Goldie) Bell was born May 23, 1932 in St. George, Kansas. She is survived by her son Wayne A. Bell of Nevada and his wife Cheryl. By 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her sister Jolene Walsh of Kansas, her Aunt Moyne Shockey of Johnston. Colorado, and Jo Hudson sister-in-law of Junction City, Kansas. Mrs. Bell is preceded in death by her spouses Jack L. Williams and Richard R. Bell, daughters Paula Castanon and Sara Higgerson, and sons Keith Bell and William Bell, parents, 2 brothers and one sister.
Glodean moved to California in June 1969 where she attended Mortuary school in San Francisco. She was employed by Oak Hill Funeral Home where she worked 24 years. Glodean was the first female embalmer for Oak Hill and third female embalmer for Santa Clara County. She paved the way for female Embalmers at Oak Hill Funeral.
