Vic Urzi

Victor F. Urzi, age 79 passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in San Jose, California. Vic was born on October 8, 1944 to loving parents Frank & Bernice Urzi in San Jose, California. He was the only child born to the couple.

After his general school studies, Vic received a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He joined the Army National Guard out of Ford Ord, CA in 1966 and stayed in the reserves for six years, leaving in 1972.

He married the love of his life, Miss Kathleen Nora Franson in 1969 and shared 55 wonderful years of marriage together full of adventures and laughter. The loving couple brought two beautiful daughters into

the world from their blessed union, Julie Hannan and Gina Urzi.

Vic worked in sales for 40 years as an airline ground support equipment manager. A job that sold airplane ground equipment all over the world. Vic traveled quite extensively for his career while his devoted wife, Kathy stayed at home with the children. It was only later, after the children were out of school did they start to travel and enjoy more time together away from home.

Victor is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy Urzi, loving daughters Julie Hannan ( Patrick), and Gina Urzi.

He was a proud and blessed to be a grandfather to four; Cade and Gabrielle Nedney and Brooklyn and Bryce Hannan.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life being held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2:00PM at Santa Teresa Catholic Parish, located at 794 Calero Avenue, San Jose, CA 95123 with Father George Aranha officiating. We do hope you will attend to help us honor and celebrate Victor F. Urzi's life, and to lift his family up in prayer.
