Viola passed away peacefully at home 11/1/2016. She was born in Flagstaff, AZ to Lily & Raul Serrano, predeceased by her parents, brother Paul Serrano, & her son Manuelito (Jesse). Survived by her children, Christina, Ruben, Irma, Raul, Margie, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sisters Jenny Histo, Frances Gallegos, brother-in-law Carlos Gallegos, nephews and nieces, her roommate of more than 30 years Manuel Montero.
Viola loved being with family & friends, traveling, music, dancing, parties, and enjoying life's celebrations.
Rosary Mon. 11/14/16 at 7pm (viewing 5-7 pm) at Lima Family, 710 Willow St. SJ. Funeral Mass on Tues, 11/15/16 at 10am Five Wounds Church 1375 E. Santa Clara, burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery 490 Lincoln St. Santa Clara and followed by a celebration of life at American Legion Post 419, 958 Homestead Rd Santa Clara.
