A loss to her family, and her many friends, but a loss to the world.
She was truly, one of a kind.
We lost track of the dear lady several years ago, and missed her visits when she would come to Green Valley, AZ. 
I think we brought some joy to her life taking her to places and events she had only read about, and she brought joy to our life, just being a friend.

Virginia was a delightful woman! A favorite memory of ours were the wonderful Christmas Parties we had at her home.  99 years young she lived quite a life!  Our thoughts and prayers go out or her family.

Virginia was my dear friend and mentor when I moved to California and began teaching at Irvington High.  She was a wonderful godmother to my daughter.  We have such fond memories of her and Arnold.  We were blessed to have them in our lives.

Virginia Baker was one of the best teachers and dearest friend anyone could
have. She taught me how to teach math,and she was,along with Arnold Sr.,
two of our special friends. May she rest in peace.
