Virginia passed away peacefully at the age of 99 with family at her side. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas in 2002 and husband Charles in 2009. Survived by her loving children Chuck (Norine), Richard (Dori), Celeste (Dennis); 9 grandchildren, Virginia, Charlene, Diana, Nikos, Ryan, Lindsay, Tommy, Jon, and Bryan; 12 great grandchildren, Vincent, Spencer, Natalie, Haley, Audrey, Kasey, Parker, Cody, Jessie, Charlie, Kimber, and Elijah; and great great grandchild, Jack Stone. Virginia, the youngest of 10 children, was born in Manhattan, NYC. The family later moved to Hackensack, NJ where she later met her future husband Charles. They were married on June 4, 1939 and moved to Connecticut. While living on the east coast, they enjoyed many great times with family and friends. Virginia was a stay at home mom, cooked great food and maintained a good running household. In 1959, full of spirit and at the age of 43, pulled up stakes with her husband and four children and moved to the golden state of California. In 1962, the family settled in San Jose where they ventured into the moving business called Charles Moving and Storage. This business became a family affair and the moving company became a household name in the greater South Bay. Later, sons Chuck and Thomas took the reins. Virginia enjoyed painting, other arts and crafts, and even learned how to play golf at the age of 72 while living in The Villages. In 2011, Virginia moved into the Atria Chateau Gardens where she enjoyed many of the daily activities offered. Because of her love of cooking, she submitted two recipes into the National Atria Cookbook contest. Her famous meatballs and marinara sauce was chosen to be included in their cookbook. Eddie, the chef at Atria, liked her recipes and added them to Atria’s meal plan. On the days that her recipes were served, Eddie invited her to help them in the kitchen to roll the meatballs. We all love and miss you, Rest in Peace; you are in God's hands.
