Virginia Patricia Sanchez

Virginia Patricia Sanchez, 90, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, in Stockton, California. She was born on March 17, 1935, in Trinidad, Colorado to Manuel Lucero and Frances (de Herrera) Lucero. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and known to her family as “Jeannie.”

She is survived by her children, Corrine Garcia (John), Carlos Sanchez, Christopher Sanchez, and Lawrence Sanchez; her grandchildren, Vanessa Sanchez, Emilio Gallegos, Christopher Sanchez, Jaime Sanchez, Felicia Sanchez, Virginia Sanchez, Alexis Schweisinger, and Justin Garcia; and great-grandchildren, Emilio Gallegos Jr., Serena Gallegos, Vincent Sanchez, Miley Sanchez, Nicole Sanchez, Christopher James Sanchez (III), Violet Schweisinger, Lydia Schweisinger, Angel Byrant, Kenny Byrant, and Rudy Calderon; and great-great grandchild, Isiah Gallegos.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Sanchez, her son, Manuel Sanchez, and daughter-in-law, Connie Sanchez.
