William Gia-Thanh Vuong

March 30, 2002 – January 3, 2026

Our beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, and nephew, William Gia Thanh Vuong, age 23, of Salinas, California, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. William was deeply cherished by his family and friends, and his gentle spirit, kindness, and quiet strength leave an everlasting imprint on all who knew and loved him.

William brought warmth, laughter, and sincerity into every space he entered. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created will be held dearly and honored always. William will be eternally loved and remembered for his compassion, humility, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.

A traditional and religious Buddhist ceremony for William will be held at:

• 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM — Buddhist ritual chanting

• 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM — Farewell viewing, and thank you

• 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM — Witness cremation

The family kindly requests no flowers. Your presence, prayers, and support are deeply appreciated. Donations made in William’s memorial will be offered back to the UU Dam temple, in his honor.
