In 1958 I along with thousands of other fans became fans of Orlando Cepeda.  I immediately began cutting out newspaper and magazine articles on the Baby Bull. I presently have a scrapbook that’s over 100 pages long.  I showed him the book when he was a coach with the White Sox at an A’s game and again when he was a guest speaker at the SOS club in Modesto.  He was an exciting player to watch. Cha Cha will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Orlando and the HOF team that came to support the Dimaggio children's hospital in Hollywood Florida. President Bill Clinton was the guest speaker for the event and they both showed great admiration for each other and the support they gave to JDCH.

Orlando at the Cardinals 50th World Series reunion  win celebration. He was the Unanimous NL MVP that year. A great team that won the World Series .

Orlando gave his time to help the Joe DiMaggio's children's hospital in Hollywood Florida . He loved to help and visit his old friends and tell stories well into the night. Great memories

Will love you always and forever. Thank you for always being there for me. I am saddened that I did not get to see you before you passed, but I think of you daily. Miss our talks.   So many years, so many memories. My consolation is that we will all meet again, together to laugh and love & dance.  Rest in Peace, fly high. Heaven has a new angel.
